  • We recommend determining the size of the ceiling are you wish to cover with stars. Further down on this page you can filter our products by ceiling size, light engine colour, features, etc. On each light engine page you will find a list of compatible fibre bundles. The optical fibre bundles come in various sizes and lengths. We recommend using mixed diameter fibre bundles as they give a more realistic starry sky effect. In terms of fibre lengths, some of our bundles are mixed lengths, some are same-lengths. Mixed lengths fibres are more cost-effective, while same-lengths ones are easier to work with (you don’t have to plan out the fibre positions per length). When deciding on the length options, consider the distance of your furthest star points from the light engine.

  • Sure! The best way to contact is is through the contact form located at the bottom of the page. In your message, let us know the ceiling area you wish to cover with stars, the intended location (e.g. bedroom, bathroom), your preference for the light features (white or colour changing light source, twinkle effect) and your preferred method of contacting you (e.g. e-mail, telephone, whatsapp).

Create your dream starlight ceiling in 3 easy steps

Step 1: Determine your project size

  • Identify the size of your project: Large (over 12 square metres), Medium (6-12 square metres), or Small (under 6 square metres).

Step 2: Choose a light engine

  • Use the filters below to find the most suitable light engine for your fibre optic star ceiling.

  • Consider the fibre capacity: We recommend 50-100 mixed diameter fibres per square meter.

  • Select the desired light colour: White, RGB, or RGBW (RGB plus pure white - Recommended).

  • Explore additional features and filter options.

Step 3: Find compatible fibre bundles

  • After selecting a light engine, open its page to view compatible optical fibre bundles. You will find the compatible optical fibre bundles under the “Compatible fibre bundles” tab.

  • Please note that some light engines already include the optical fibre bundle.

  • Most optical fibre bundles include mixed diameter fibres to increase the random starry effect. The bundles come in various length options. To determine the most suitable option, consider the distance of the light engine from the furthest star points.

Installation of DIY star light ceiling kit

Each fibre optic kit includes a light engine and optical bundle, although you can also buy them separately to create your own star display. Our DIY kits are suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, and children's rooms.

Optical fibres can be installed on ceilings made of gypsum plasterboard, wood, perspex and stretch ceilings. Using appropriately sized drill bits, you can make holes for your optical fibres in the layout of your choice, whether that's randomly distributed or in an ordered pattern.
