This special indoor and outdoor fibre optic lighting kit is sufor floor applications such as decking areas, garden pathways, bathrooms and children’s rooms. Fibre optic lighting doesn’t contain electricity, so they are water- and weather-proof and thanks to the protective PVC sleeve, the fibres can be buried underground. The fibres are extremely easy to install and you can create your magical starry floor in no time! As the light source itself is not waterproof, it should always be placed in a dry location, considering the nearest power outlet, the length of the optical fibres and the area of application.

Waterproof fibre optic lights for bathroom and outdoors

This outdoor fibre optic lighting kit is perfect if you wish to make your own floor projects. The floor lights are typically installed in wooden floors, paving, pathways, interior and exterior steps and stages. Bright up the end of the day with our lights!
Our star kit includes the light engine as the light source with connector ring while the optical fibre bundles can be added separately. Thanks to the waterproof optical fibres, you can place them in your bathroom and even outdoors. The 7W white light engine can be controlled with remote control and should always be protected from water and placed in a dry location since the light engine itself is not waterproof. The optical fibres are covered with a PVC sleeve that makes them very durable to protect them from damage or break, once buried underground. The bundle contains 60 optical fibres at 6m - 8m and 10m lengths.
These fibre optic lighting kits can be installed indoors, for example in bathrooms, or children’s rooms or play rooms to create a magical twinkling floor effect.
For outdoors, with white colour lighting, you can safely illuminate the stairs outside your home which helps to prevent trips and falls when leaving or entering the front or back of your house. If you have recently invested in a new grill or barbecue, or you renovated your patio, our lighting kits are the ideal solution for bringing your new garden features to life. Fibre optic floor lights look amazing as a star ceiling, or in decking or patios and even around flower beds, with brilliant white colour.

Installation
As the light source itself is not waterproof, it should always be placed in a dry location, considering the nearest power outlet, the length of the optical fibres and the area of application. The light engine can be placed in conservatories, garages, garden sheds or a custom-made, dry enclosures made from plant pots or other waterproof options that blend in with the environment. Once the fibres are placed in their final location and trimmed to their desired height, we recommend sealing them off with epoxy resin to ensure water doesn’t leak between the PVC coating and the optical fibre.
